I begged Lex to spurge on the Adamant Suites a new luxurious resort in Fira. (spurge meaning we still got a excellent deal:) Although if we did it again we might have stayed in Oia
I found Santorini to be one of the most mystical and romantic places in the world. "It owns its curved “croissant” shape to the tremendous volcanic eruption that took place 3.500 years ago and literally sank the largest part of the island into the deep waters of the Aegean Sea, creating a seven mile crater, the famous Caldera. The most famous of these stories is that the tidal wave that was caused from the volcanic explosion back on 1.550BC completely destroyed the legendary lost city of Atlantis which was supposed to be located somewhere between Santorini and Crete." This fabulous continental breakfast was included in that pricey rate but it the ONLY way to start off a wonderful relaxing day on the island. Nothing special for Vegans..cereal, juices, fruit, bread, tea, ect. I still immensely enjoyed it!!
Candlelight Dinners:
At the high price of 100 euros per couple you can experience the ultimate romance of having the most private candlelight dinner under the stars!! It's the Ocean Dream Diamond (vegetarian/vegan) meal privately prepared and served by a personal waiter on your room's balcony!! It sounds fantastic, unfortunately for me Lex wasn't in a romantical mood...considering he found Santorini boringly overrated with donkey poo covered streets
